Maumelle F.O.P. Lodge #48

 

Dear Friends and Fellow Citizens,

 

On behalf of Maumelle F.O.P. Lodge #48, it is my honor to announce that our Lodge fully supports and hereby endorses Caleb Norris for Mayor of the City of Maumelle.

 

Throughout his tenure as Mayor, Caleb has demonstrated a commitment to the Maumelle community and to the public safety professionals who serve it. During his meeting with our Lodge, he discussed his continued support for public safety, including the development of the new police and fire training facility, which will provide valuable resources for our first responders and the future of our community.

 

Mayor Norris has also demonstrated a willingness to listen to the concerns of our membership. Following an employee engagement assessment conducted within the department, many of the concerns identified by our members were brought forward and communicated to the new Chief as issues requiring attention. We appreciate Mayor Norris's willingness to engage with the FOP and recognize the importance of addressing the concerns of the officers who serve Maumelle.

 

Looking toward the future, Mayor Norris has expressed a vision for continued economic development within Maumelle, with an emphasis on strengthening the city's commercial sector and making Maumelle a destination for those both within and outside of our community. We believe responsible economic growth can provide additional revenue for the city while helping limit the need to place an increasing tax burden on Maumelle residents.

 

Lodge #48 believes that effective leadership requires a willingness to listen, a commitment to public safety, and a vision for the continued growth and success of our community. Based on Mayor Norris's record and his continued engagement with our membership, we are confident that he will continue working toward these goals if re-elected.

 

We look forward to continuing our relationship with Mayor Norris and working together to strengthen Maumelle, support our first responders, and ensure that the interests of our community and public safety professionals remain a priority.
